VENI, VIDI, VICI
After 20 years i left school i finally met some of my ex-schoolmates at our Georgian 88' school reunion held at J.W Marriot Putrajaya on 17 Jan, 2010.
What a reunion indeed! Me and my husband, Ashik had a fantastic, super terrific time at the reunion!!! For your information my husband and i were classmates for 3 years - from form 3 to form 5 . We had some of the greatest time of our lives back in our great school the KING GEORGE V (KGV), Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
In preparation to snap our Georgian 88' photo. A chaotic exercise indeed..
Kamarulzaman Lokeman our classmate of 4science 3 & 5science3 made an announcement in fb that he will pay for a hi-tea Georgian 88' gathering at J.W Marriot (he must be doing really great in the money territory to make this kind of offer huh) and participation came pouring in. Names of ex-schoolmates that we haven't heard of since the past 20 years also pop up.
It was exciting to see the names of the people that we'll be meeting. I was excited to meet up with 2 ex-schoolmates in particular - Rozana Abdul Zainal and Azizah Adnan. I haven't met them since we finished form 5!
The day of the reunion came. Our ex-classmate, Bahrain who is also my kampung buddy friend spend the night at home. He came all the way from Padang Besar for this reunion. He's a sergeant in the army force now. We travelled to J.W Marriot in a car with Duke (Ashik's close friend since school), Sazali (also Ashik's close buddy since school) and Bahrain. It was laughter all the way in the car. Those guys cracked the funniest jokes ever!!! The memories of school time so near to heart now.
5science 3, Georgian class of 88' - I would never ask for a different classmates. Kamarulzaman the sponsor is at the extreme left of the first row (he's holding a roll of paper) Bahrain is in the red shirt, standing at the last row.
The guys of Georgian class of 88'. Many of them created all sorts of problems at school! My other half included.
We reached J.W Marriot with Jim an ex-classmate waiting for us at the lobby. So all 6 of us walked into the dining hall, everybody was already there eating and chatting rather civilisedly. And as soon we came closed, some friends walked towards us and we start hugging each other! The guys hugged the guys and the girls hugged the girls ya. I was frantic to see Azizah and Rozana.
Standing from left, Azizah, Shafini, me, Amelia. Sitting from left, Jameah & Rozana.
After a while we settled down and start eating. Bahrain was the star of the day. He brightens up the gathering with his frank and kampung outspokenness attitude. It was like school days again! Ashik was having a ball mingling with his friends, so do i!!!

The dialogues is the courtesy of surprisingly creative ex-schoolmate of ours - Tan Ying Jau a former 5 science 1 student. (Science 1 student are not meant to be creative or funny, you know)
The guys lepaking together, just like school time. Only now they can openly smoke..err actually some of them did openly smoke in school, some in front of the teachers some more! Thugs wannabe but turn out to be good people after all...
After a while i can feel my jaw hurting for laughing so hard and for smiling non-stop. Everybody was talking and asking things about everybody else and i can't remember what was the answers for all those questions were. It was because before a proper answer is being made for a particular question, already some other people is asking you about another one. That's why we must meet more often guys, that way we wouldn't be asking so much questions about each other.Faces changes, body figures changes, some are with less or without hair. We have change a lot yes but the time we spend together in school can never be changed. It will forever remain fix in our life history. Whether we like it or not we once walked the same path.
I was proud to know that many of our schoolmates are doing very well in life. Some make tons of money some maybe not so much, but everybody is happy with their lives. I'm happy to see them again!
Saying goodbye...sob..sob
Thank you Kamarulzaman for paying for the hi-tea, thank you everybody for attending, thank you to all the husbands, wives and children for letting their spouse, parent (in my case parents) attend the reunion. We sure did had a blast! Hope to see you all again!
WE GEORGIANS FAITHFULLY SHALL SERVE OUR KING AND COUNTRY TILL ETERNITY!
